"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

I made it to 10 years on dA. That's a century. I should do something to commemorate such an event, but truth be told even though I have visited this site for this long. I have not been a part of it's community for many years now. Oh well.

I've been on this site for 9 years now, I have seen it change far from what it once used to be. Back then, art required thought and effort. Even though it may not be the best but a great deal of effort went into what was posted. Artists would give critique over techniques and ways to improve. Now it's just "hey look at me, I can move my mouse and call it art" "hey fav me""hey comment" blahblahblah. Those who actually care about art and it's growth don't come here a whole lot. So that said, I don't really see this place like I once used to. Now I just come to dig through and find some great photographers, and visit the box.
